Quarantine approved at-home workouts
Part 1 of many reviews of at-home workouts to get you out of that quarantine rut
Many of us went into this quarantine with the hope of taking up a new hobby. I chose to focus on my health and fitness like so many others. Throughout the past couple of months I have tried quite a few at-home workouts. Some were good, others were not my favorite, however, the trial and error was all worth it because now I can give you reviews on some of my favorites. There are quite a few so I fully intend on making this a series!
For the first post in this at-home workout series I have a couple YouTube videos by one of my favorite fitness influencers, Natacha Océane. I started following her content when I first became interested in fitness. Her content is helpful and very informative, as she has a research masters degree in biophysics.
Natacha’s Instagram is great for inspiration and some quick workout guides. On her Youtube channel you’ll find videos about food, workouts, and trying new products. For this post I wanted to highlight her recent videos for at-home HIIT workouts that are apartment friendly, meaning that there is no jumping. And you still get a killer workout in without bothering your downstairs neighbors (yay!). The videos are beginner friendly and don’t require any equipment. Don’t let that fool you, you will be sweating by the end of the video. These videos are quick, about 15-20 minutes a piece, and easy to slip into your schedule between classes or on your lunch break.
Additional Resources
I have created a playlist on Youtube for ease of access so that you don’t have to sort through Natacha’s other content, although I highly recommend you do. I hope this collection helps you out of the workout rut that quarantine has put many of us in. Take the 20 minutes out of your day when you have it and invest in yourself. I promise you won’t regret it!
